Paula Ivins Kingston - Owner/ Operator

A third generation stylist with 24 years in the business, Paula has enjoyed a full career in both education and salon/ spa management.  


She served as both the Purefessional Team Trainer and as a Global Educator for the Aveda Corporation before being sent to Aveda’s flagship salon and spa in New York City’s trendy Soho area as Creative Director.

In 1999 Paula accepted the position of Salon Director for the then new Oscar Bond Salon and Spa in Soho to lead a new team of stylists.  The work of Oscar Bond Salon has been seen on “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”, MTV’s “Fashion Emergency”, “The View” and in most major fashion and style magazines worldwide.

Paula’s own work has been featured on “The View”, in Martha Stewart’s Weddings, Real Simple Magazine, City Magazine, and many trade publications.  She was also listed in Allure Magazine as one of New York City’s “RISING STARS”.  You can find her on Allure’s website at “Best of New York City” for hair. 


Paula continues to work in New York at the Oscar Bond Salon one week per month at the request of her clientele.
